Department of Public Works Mechanic
The town of Groton, Department of Public Works is looking for qualified candidates for a 40 hour per week DPW Mechanic position. Responsibilities include repairing and maintaining a fleet of town trucks, numerous pieces of heavy equipment and small machines. Candidate must be self-directed, organized and a problem solver. Requires a Class A CDL and Hydraulic license. Pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screening pre-hire, driver history checked upon hire.
