Share your housing talent and join our mission driven team! The Housing Development Division seeks qualified candidates for a Manager, HOME Program/Special Projects.
HOME is a federally funded program that assists in the production and preservation of affordable housing for low and moderate-income families and individuals. The HOME program funds a broad range of activities, including new construction, acquisition and rehabilitation of rental properties. The Manager, HOME Program/Special Projects participates in rental and ownership housing competitions with HOME Investment Partnerships Program and other division funds, including other subsidy programs. They perform numerous loan closings per year, oversee compliance monitoring matters, perform project reviews, and guide staff project reviews. The ideal candidate has demonstrated knowledge of the principles and practices of real estate financing, housing and portfolio management, and understanding of the factors which influence the housing market. They enjoy both collaborative and independent work, understand program administration and oversight, and have experience with the HOME program, as well as familiarity with the new federal HOME-ARP and other Massachusetts housing programs and resources.
