Assist in the evaluation of citywide organizational effectiveness and the development of strategies to achieve organizational excellence guided by the city of New Bedford’s mission, values, and goals. Performs standard professional work in the audit and analysis of the city’s performance management program and any projects related to process and continuous improvement in the areas of quality, operations, productivity, and cost using continuous improvement methodologies, data, and tools.

The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical skills and be capable of planning and managing numerous processes and projects simultaneously.
