The city of Salem seeks qualified and experienced applicants for the position of Local Building Inspector. The Local Building Inspector shall possess the following qualifications as established in Section 107.4 of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts state building code. They shall have at least five years of experience in the supervision of building construction or design, or in the alternative, a two-year associate degree in a field related to building construction or design.
