The town of Concord’s Building division seeks a Local Inspector to administer and enforce building codes, architectural access regulations, zoning and sign bylaws, and decisions of local Boards and Commissions. Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills and effective written and verbal communication skills. Position requires strong knowledge of laws, regulations, policies and standards related to building inspections, standard requirements for building construction, fire prevention, light, ventilation and safe egress, and associated equipment and materials. MA certification as a Local Inspector required within 18 months of hire. Starting range: $80,433.00 – $96,125.60/ yr, DOQ.
