The town of Bourne, an affirmative action, equal opportunity employer, seeks a qualified candidate for a full-time Local Building Inspector position. The Local Building Inspector is responsible for inspecting residential, commercial, and industrial installations to ensure conformance with code. Work includes performing field inspections to ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations, maintaining records and preparing reports, and assisting in the daily operation of the Inspections Department.
Salary
Starting salary for this position is $35.38-$36.99 an hour. It is 37.5 hours/week position with an estimated start date on or after July 1
Full/Part Time and Hours/Salary
The position is a LIUNA Unit B, Grade 3, benefited position with dental, health, PTO and retirement.
