The Sawyer Free Library is accepting applications for a full-time Librarian. 35 hours per week. This position is perfect for someone who believes library services are essential to a strong community and is passionate about going above and beyond to help adults meet their information needs.
Primary duties of the Librarian include:
- Delivering information and reader’s advisory services
- Instructing the public in the use of technology and online resources
- Overseeing management of a section of the collection
- Planning programs in partnership with community stakeholders
- Creating content for websites and social media
Ability and enthusiasm for adapting to new technologies and services are a must.
Pay Range: $32.78 – $47.47 per hour
