The town of Norfolk department of Public Works is seeking a highly motivated, full-time, 40 hours per week, DPW Grounds Division skilled laborer. This union position performs technical, skilled manual work mainly associated with tasks associated within the Grounds Division of the DPW, which includes the use of DPW vehicles, property, and specialized heavy equipment to complete procedural and maintenance activities. Qualifications and experience: High school graduate or equivalent. Successful applicants must pass a criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug test. Requirements include Class 2B Hoisting License and CDL preferred. Starting rate is $21.55/hr. to $22.64/hr. based on qualifications and experience. The town offers a generous benefits package.
