The town of Ipswich seeks qualified candidates for the full-time, benefited position of IT Specialist.

Our IT Specialist responds to level one and level two calls and supports the technology needs of town users by maintaining workstations, Laptops, network devices, peripherals, VoIP phone and telecommunications. You must be a self-starter and problem-solver and will respond to staff queries directly via our IT ticketing system, phone and onsite. The candidate should have solid knowledge of Windows-based platforms and applications, website maintenance skills (Editing/creating web pages), MUNIS and O365 administration experience is a plus, in addition to experience working with mission-critical client Production systems and networks. Veeam /other backup solution and any wifi knowledge is also a plus. Must possess excellent customer services skills and strong work ethic.

Supports public safety and will be needed off hours, on-call.

Salary $68,000 – $70,000 DOQ
