This position provides clerical support to DPS administration and staff. The work entails processing daily water and sewer receivables, scheduling and updating customer accounts, coordinating the meter readers daily work orders, processing building permit requests, fill purchase order requests and assist in all Business Office functions related to payroll, billing and work orders and is the main receptionist in support of the Business Office. Interim Administrative Assistant is responsible for maintaining and improving upon the efficiency and effectiveness of all areas under their direction and control.

Education, Training and Experience:
Must have a high school diploma or GED with three years of computer and office experience or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training. All employment offers are conditional upon passing a reference and Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) check.

This is a full-time interim position with a normal work schedule of 35 hours per week Mon – Fri 7 a.m.. to 3 p.m. The hourly rate is $25. This is a non-benefit position.
