Job Description
The town of Boxborough is seeking a collaborative and experienced Human Services Director to lead and coordinate the town’s Human Services Department. The Director provides leadership for programs and services supporting residents across Council on Aging, Community Services, Recreation, and Veterans Services.
The position is responsible for departmental planning, program development, operations, policy and process improvement, grant opportunities, and coordination with local, state, and federal agencies. The Director supervises Human Services staff and works closely with boards, commissions, community partners, and town leadership to ensure effective and responsive services to residents.
Qualified candidates should possess strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with experience in human services, public administration, social services, or a related field.
Salary: Expected Hiring range for this position is $80,000 – $85,000, and the full salary range is $80,000 – $111,600.
Status: Full-Time, Exempt
