Andover’s combined town and school Human Resource Office has an opening for an experienced Human Resource Generalist to provide professional and administrative work related to the daily operations of the HR Department. This position will assist with all phases of the town’s recruitment process, attend collective bargaining sessions, assist with tracking and generating personnel change notices, plan and implement training programs for town employees, and assist with employee benefits programs and retiree benefits.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in business or human resources, as well as excellent customer service skills.  Must have a minimum of five years’ experience working with the public, preferably working for a municipality or school system in a human resource environment.
