To provide responsible administrative work, sometimes complex, in assisting the Human Resource Director in the completion of all Human Resource functions, including pre-employment, onboarding, terminations, benefit management and employee assistance; all other related work as required.  The Assistant Human Resource Administrator is responsible for maintaining and improving upon the efficiency and effectiveness of all areas under their direction and control.

Education, Training and Experience:

Associate’s degree with five years or bachelor’s degree and three years, of progressively responsible experience in human resources, benefit management, and municipal financial administration; previous work in a collective bargaining environment helpful; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires valid motor vehicle license. Knowledge of MUNIS preferred.

Salary Range: $59,946 to $74,896
