The Human Resources Director is a qualified, competent and experienced full-year, confidential appointee reporting directly to the Superintendent-Director. The appointee serves as the principal advisor to the Superintendent-Director, school administrators and supervisory staff in all aspects of the district’s human resource functions. This position will provide professional level support in the functional areas of Human Resources including but not limited to; employee/labor relations, educator licensure, personnel records, legal compliance, job evaluation, organizational development, AAP/EEO, employment, benefits, training, unemployment insurance, workers’ compensation, employee communications, compensation and related areas. This appointee will assist in the development and implementation of Human Resources policies and procedures and their dissemination through the District Policy Manual, employee booklets, communications, and or meetings. Appointee will prepare reports in conformance with legislated requirements or organizational needs. This employee will serve as primary liaison between district employees and the Business Office for matters involving pay or benefits. The Human Resources Director oversees the administration of all employee benefit programs and maintains responsibility for the district’s human resources information systems.
