The town of Fairhaven seeks qualified applicants for the position of Human Resources Director.

The Human Resources Director is a full-time (40 hrs/week) benefitted and provides personnel services and support to the Town Administrator, department heads, and all employees of the town of Fairhaven. The Human Resources Director reports to the Town Administrator and receives policy guidance from the Select Board. Must have excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills and must be able to meet deadlines. A master’s degree in human resources, public administration or other management/administration with three to five years of relevant experience is required or related college coursework preferred. The applicant must have excellent customer service skills and enjoy working in a public setting. Must exercise good judgement in a variety of situations. Supervisory experience preferred. Must have and maintain a valid Massachusetts driver’s license.

The Salary range is $76,965.95 – $96,193.34 annually, depending on qualifications.
