The town of Wilbraham invites qualified Human Resources professionals to apply for the position of Human Resources Coordinator. The incumbent HR Coordinator is retiring at the end of June. Responsibilities include all aspects of human resources management for over 200 employees. These include strategic planning, policy development, recruitment, discrimination prevention, performance management, employee relations, safety, OSHA and work related injury, collective bargaining, compensation, benefits programs, training, and employee relations. Position ensures adherence to municipal policies and labor laws of all departments, and serves as harassment grievance officer. The HR team includes the Select Board, which sets policy as the Personnel Board; the Town Administrator, who serves as the Personnel Director; a designated clerical staff member; and a third party Benefits Administrator. You will be responsible for providing HR service across all municipal departments, but not including the Hampden-Wilbraham Regional School district.

This exempt position offers a competitive salary range, DOQ. The full pay range is $77,337 to $101,490, for a standard Monday-Friday 35 hour work-week (occasional work outside of standard business hours required). The anticipated hiring range is $77,337 to $89,670. Your minimum qualifications for consideration are a bachelor’s degree in human resource management or related field, and three years of human resources management experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience. Municipal human resources management experience, especially in a Massachusetts municipality, is desirable and preferred; as are PHR or ICMA – PR Certifications.
