The town of Falmouth is currently recruiting for an HR Assistant. Reporting to the Director of HR, this position will work closely and regularly with candidates, new hires, managers, our HR team, and existing employees. As a key member of our HR team, this position will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative/clerical support of the Human Resources Department. Responsibilities range from providing full cycle recruitment support, including scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks preparing offer letters; acting as a liaison and providing information and assistance to staff and the public regarding department operations and special projects including recruitment, benefits, training, contract and policy interpretation, compensation, employee/labor relations and personnel policies; processing and entering town wide payroll changes; maintaining records and compiling and composing routine to complex HR reports; maintaining town wide attendance records; and all other related duties. Two years HR office support experience, Associates degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  The ideal candidate will have superb administrative skills, be tech savvy and know when to ask questions. The salary range for this position is $20.01 to $26.06, depending on experience.
