The Manager is responsible for overseeing Malden’s Housing Rehab program, which is a federally funded program that provides financial assistance to improve substandard housing for income-eligible residents. Reporting to the Deputy Director for Housing and Community Development, the Manager works closely with the Rehab Specialist and Outreach Specialist to ensure the program is administered effectively and in compliance with federal regulations.

Qualified candidates would have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Three years’ experience in public administration, program/project management, community development, construction, code compliance, real estate, property management, a related field, or equivalent advanced education is preferred.

The Housing Rehab Program Manger position is 100% grant-funded.

Salary Range: $82,858.87 – $91,460.69 (FY25)
