Working under the general direction of the Assistant Town Administrator for Operations, the Historic Administrator provides professional and diversified supervisory and managerial functions supporting the Hingham Historical Commission (HC) and the Hingham Historic Districts Commission (HDC). Work includes enforcing and implementing laws and regulations, conducting inspections and investigations, and a variety of administrative and public service duties. Also, ensures each commission complies with all Open Meeting Law requirements.
