The town of Wellesley department of Public Works is seeking a Highway Division Superintendent to manage roads, sidewalks, drainage systems, and snow/ice operations, ensuring safe, reliable, and sustainable infrastructure. Key responsibilities include leading a skilled crew; planning, budgeting, and managing maintenance and construction projects; collaborating with DPW divisions, other departments, and state agencies; providing strong leadership and customer service; and overseeing daily and emergency operations.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field (or equivalent), has at least five years of supervisory experience in municipal public works or a related setting, and practical experience in road, drainage, and snow/ice operations. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, as well as a valid Massachusetts Class D driver’s license, are required.
