Under the general direction of the Sr. Foreman and/or Foreman the Heavy Motor Equipment Operator (HMEO) operates heavy motor equipment requiring a Commercial Driver’s License. Such equipment is used in the maintenance, repair and upkeep of town and/or school infrastructure including but not limited to fleet, roads, sidewalks, drainage/culverts, school zone lights, street signs, guardrails, berms, parking lots, water, sewer, trees, parks, athletic fields, grounds, buildings, custodial services, trash/recycling receptacles and general roadside debris/cleanup. The ideal candidate will have two or more years of experience operating heavy motor equipment, a valid CDL and a proven track record of safety.
Salary Range: $25.15 (Step 1) to $29.17 (Step 7) per hour. Benefits include health, dental, and life insurance, generous paid time off, FSAs, and more!
