Job Description
The Town of Canton is seeking qualified candidates for Heavy Equipment Operator position. The Heavy Equipment Operator operates a variety of motor vehicles and equipment, power tools and hand tools in support of the Public Works Department. High school diploma or equivalent; 1-3 years of experience operating heavy equipment; Class B CDL with tanker and air brake endorsement Class A CDL preferred. Pay Range: $28.87 – $36.08
This is a non-exempt, benefit eligible, AFSCME Union position.
The work schedule is Monday through Thursday 7:00am to 4:00pm and Friday 7:00am to 1:00pm.
