Receives, responds, and tracks complaints from the local community. State sanitary code permitting, inspections, and enforcement. Assists in coordinating public health emergency preparedness within the town, willingness to respond after hours in times of public health emergencies. May occasionally require work nights/weekend. Bachelor’s degree in public health or science and preferably be a current registered sanitarian. Goal is to obtain RS or registered environmental health specialist license within 24 months of hire. Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator’s license is required.
