Title of position: GRANT WRITER – Full-time, Temporary, ending 12/21/2020, Contract Employee

General statement of duties: Reporting directly to the Chief Administrative and Financial Officer, the successful candidate will maximize the city of Methuen’s potential by closely researching and monitoring local, state and federal grant funding. Candidate will write, submit, and manage all COVID-19 grant proposals addressing the needs of the city of Methuen. The candidate will also assist in current applications by reducing technical errors, suggesting context edits, and providing recommendations to improve applications before submittal.

Qualifications: Candidate must possess: full knowledge of complex grant application process; a minimum of two years of grant writing experience; excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; excellent organizational skills; and the ability to work independently while meeting all deadlines.

Salary: CARES funded $1,225- $1,400 weekly dependent upon experience and qualifications
