The town of Harvard is seeking applications for a full-time Firefighter/EMT. This position will be a dual-response position with the Harvard Fire Department and Harvard Ambulance Service, with primary job functions to include EMS coordination and operations. Minimum requirements: High school diploma or GED, current Mass. EMT certification, Firefighter I/II certification, current Mass. Driver’s License. Preferred qualifications include: three to five years’ experience as a firefighter and EMT, experience with EMS coordination or management, and advanced fire and emergency services qualifications.

This is a Monday – Friday 40 hr/week position, with additional meetings and/or trainings after hours as needed (typically four to six times per month). Starting pay is $28.19/hr with comprehensive benefits (generous PTO, health and life insurance, town-paid short- and long-term disability, county retirement).
