The Public Safety Communications Center is open 24/7, 365 days/year
Dispatchers must be available to cover all shifts, including nights, weekends, & holidays.
Under general guidance of the Public Safety Communications Director, the Public Safety Dispatchers are part of the Public Safety Communications Center. Our dedicated and highly trained professionals routinely offer life-saving medical instructions in addition to providing accurate public-safety information.
The Public Safety Dispatchers are responsible for receiving and transmitting emergency and administrative messages to appropriate law enforcement, fire and medical personnel in the manner dictated by the state-mandated Emergency Medical Dispatch Protocol and department policy.
