The town of Athol seeks applicants for the part-time position of Fiscal Manager/Office Administrator for the department of Planning and Development. Under general supervision of the Director will perform a variety of responsible clerical, administrative and technical accounting duties for the department. Familiarity with Microsoft software, i.e., Excel, Word, Quickbooks, etc. for use in creating spreadsheets, letters and program records is required. H.S. diploma and training in accounting or bookkeeping and/or a combination of a minimum three to five years of comparable office experience and education. CDBG experience preferred.
Hours: Mon. – Thurs., 20 to 24 hours/week. Regular hours negotiable upon hire. Starting hourly rate $25.71 to $28.93 DOQE and the position is a member of the SEIU collective bargaining unit. The position is funded through the Community Development Block Grant and local town appropriation and subject to continuing availability of funds.
