The town of Acton is seeking qualified candidates for the new position of Fire Prevention Officer. Reporting to the Fire Chief, the Fire Prevention Officer will play a critical within the Fire department and is responsible for enforcing fire safety and life safety codes and regulations, conducting inspections, and education the Public on fire safety. They also will also play a key role in developing and implementing fire safety plans and coordinating emergency response effort.
Pay Rate: Anticipated salary range between $80,000 – $87,500 annually
