Job Description
The town of Windsor, VT is seeking an experienced Fire and EMS leader to serve as its next Fire Chief. The successful candidate will need to be a visible and credible leader with a record of effective command experience. The candidate must also have a demonstrated understanding of the operational and financial complexities – and realities – of a small, but active, municipal organization.
The position reports to the Town Manager, and oversees 14 full-time and ~20 part-time employees, an operating budget of more than $1.5 million, and relationships with neighboring communities and local institutions.
The salary range for this position is $90,000–$110,000 annually.
