Performs varied and responsible duties in processing financial transactions requiring use of Financial Management Software Systems (FMS) and other software applications. Requires thorough knowledge of accounting principles, town financial procedures and a sophisticated database application. Requires broad knowledge of office operations and judgment in addressing internal & external customers. The division processes a high work volume, requiring speed, accuracy and strict deadlines adherence.  

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate degree in business, accounting, computer science or related field.

Five-plus years experience in accounts payable, payroll or related field; experience with financial management software preferred; or equivalent combination of education/experience.
