The city of Somerville is in search of a Finance Manager for our Somerville Police department. The Manager oversees the department’s financial operations, including budget preparation, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll. They serve as the chief’s assistant, manage grants, and ensure accurate financial reporting. The role also includes training staff, researching large purchases, coordinating contracts, and attending senior meetings. Additional responsibilities include processing medical payments and assisting with office staff recruitment. Performs other related duties that may be assigned.
Hours: Full-time
Salary: $82,806.06 annualized, plus benefits
