Finance Director/Town Accountant
Community of 19,000 people with budget of $67.6M+/- seeks first Finance Director/Town Accountant responsible for all fiscal and administrative activities of the town’s financial operations, which includes the Accounting, Assessing and professional accounting work. The ideal candidate shall possess a master’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field; more than 10 years related work experience and five years in a supervisory or management capacity or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Preference will be given to those with municipal experience, working knowledge of Softright accounting, Asure Time and Attendance and Harpers payroll software and a Massachusetts Governmental Accounting Certification.
