We are currently seeking qualified applicants for the full-time position of Facilities Engineer in the Department of Public Facilities. Under the general direction of the Director of Public Facilities, this position is responsible for managing the efficient maintenance and operation of all municipal and school building systems as well all consultant and contracted services, and all building trades and Mechanical/Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) contractors. Qualified applicants will have related job experience, training and course work equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, facilities management, electrical engineering or a related field, along with seven to ten years of facility systems experience, including five years of system operation responsibility and three years of supervisory experience.
