The town of Lunenburg seeks experienced, energetic, and forward-thinking applicants to join our team as Executive Assistant to Town Manager and Select Board position.

Under the general supervision of the Town Manager, this position provides high-level administrative, confidential, and customer service-oriented support to the Town Manager and Select Board. Oversees daily office operations, communicates with the public, and ensures compliance with applicable laws, bylaws, and policies.

Ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver, strong communicator, and self-starter who wants to take charge of projects, lead initiatives, and drive positive change within the organization. Position offers substantial exposure to high-level decision-making and municipal operations, providing the perfect platform for growth and development.

High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred. Three to five years of office or municipal experience. Strong organizational, and computer skills. Knowledge of Open Meeting Law, licensing, permitting, and municipal operations preferred. CORI required; Notary Public preferred. Full-time (36 hours/week), benefited position. Office is closed on Fridays. Pay range: $28.21–$34.72/hour. Employment Agreement possible.
