The town of Winchendon is seeking a full-time Executive Assistant in the Office of the Town Manager. This position is responsible for providing a variety of complex administrative, analytical, and professional duties including leading the daily office activities of the Select Board; preparing agendas, packets and minutes; licensing businesses; managing the town’s insurance; processing department payroll and invoices; managing budgets; and overseeing and assisting with the town’s website and other social media. Must have strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to plan projects and meet deadlines. Position requires attendance at biweekly Select Board evening meetings. Associates’ or bachelor’s degree or five years’ administrative experience in a municipal setting required, or any equivalent combination of education and municipal experience. The ideal candidate is a self motivated, extremely detail oriented professional who can work with employees, volunteers and the general public with ease. The position requires a high level of confidentiality, self prioritization and impressive organization skills. $28.42 to $36.38 per hour, DOQ.
