The town of Sudbury is seeking an Executive Assistant to serve as the lead administrative staff member for the Town Manager and Select Board.  In this important role, you will be at the center of the town’s operations, providing a high level of administrative support to our chief executive, and working collaboratively with our dynamic Select Board Office team on a variety of tasks and projects. Major responsibilities include: developing and maintaining the bi-weekly Select Board agenda, supervising preparations for Annual and Special Town Meetings, and producing a wide range of written material, requiring strong writing skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills are required, including considerable patience, courtesy, discretion and tact.

Typical qualifications for this position include two years of post-high school education/training in a related field; and five years of experience in general clerical/administrative work. Undergraduate degree and/or municipal experience preferred. Proficiency with MS Office (Word and Excel) required.

Anticipated hiring range for this position is $79,218 – $88,886 with max to $104,191 (40 hours per week), plus excellent benefits. Starting salary step is based on qualifications.
