The town of Plainville seeks a detail-oriented, organized professional to serve as Executive Assistant to the Town Administrator. This full-time (35 hrs/week, Monday–Thursday), confidential position supports the day-to-day operations of the Town Administrator’s office. The Executive Assistant ensures implementation of the Town Administrator’s directives, manages office communications, and coordinates key functions to promote efficient municipal operations.

A bachelor’s degree in public administration, business, or a related field is preferred. Candidates should have three to five years of progressively responsible experience in roles such as executive assistant or office manager. Strong knowledge of office administration and familiarity with municipal operations is highly desirable. A Notary Public commission (or the ability to obtain one) is required.

Salary range: $30.95–$43.70/hour, depending on qualifications.
