The city of Cambridge is looking for a committed Equity and Inclusion Investigator to help ensure that all employees and stakeholders are treated with respect and dignity. As an Equity and Inclusion Investigator, you will be responsible for investigating complaints related to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other violations of the city’s policies related to equity, diversity, and inclusion. You will work closely with the Chief of Equity and Inclusion and other departments to ensure that our workplace is inclusive, equitable, and free from discrimination. Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as human resources and social justice.

Three years of experience investigating complaints related to equity, diversity, and inclusion, preferably in a government setting. Strong knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to equity, diversity, and inclusion, including but not limited to Title VII, Title IX, and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sensitivity.
