PRIMARY DUTIES: Position is responsible for the operation of trash compactors, off-road dump trucks, loaders, compost machines, road graders, bull dozers, water trucks, backhoes, collection equipment and any piece of city or rental equipment in use at the Solid Waste Department or for snow removal. This position is also responsible for performing routine equipment maintenance, including oil changes, fueling, and minor repairs on vehicles and equipment. Position is full-time, Monday to Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of one year relevant work experience and a high school diploma or certified equivalent is required. Must possess a NHDES Solid Waste Operator certificate (or obtain within a year), and valid CDL-B driver’s license.
