The town of Danvers welcomes applicants for the full-time position of Equipment Operator for the DPW Forestry division. This position is responsible for operating hydraulic equipment and performing landscape construction. This position is primarily responsible for drainage systems, irrigation, and buildings maintenance tasks located in and around forestry areas and other town properties. The Equipment Operator may be responsible for directing small crew, while also working on a piece of equipment.
This is a benefitted, full-time position that works 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday: 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.). This position earns $24.86/hourly with the ability to move through the pay scale via step system to a maximum of $28.36/hourly.
