The city of Cambridge is seeking an Energy and Sustainability Analyst to manage and analyze municipal energy and greenhouse gas data to support mandated and voluntary reporting, budgeting, and planning. Reporting to the Project Manager, Level 1, the role provides analytic and program support for energy-efficiency and sustainability projects in city facilities, including tracking initiatives, grant writing and administration, new-initiative research, and use of tools such as MassEnergyInsight and ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, sustainability, data analytics, public policy, or a closely related field.

Two years of related professional experience.

Technical experience should include strong data and analytical skills, preferably applied to energy efficiency, facility management, and renewable energy technology, policy, and programs.

RATE: $84,506 – $114,076 annually
