The city of Lowell is seeking qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Energy Advocate in the Department of Planning & Development. This position reports to the Housing and Energy Program Manage and is responsible to design, implement, and monitor strategies to promote National Grid’s Community First Partnership (and related energy efficiency programs). The purpose of this partnership is to increase access and participation in Mass Save energy efficiency programs. Serves as an advocate for customers who need support and guidance to enroll in the Mass Save programs. The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, environmental science, engineering, public policy, or equivalent work experience. A professional designation in energy-related field preferred. Salary range: $45,470.88 (min) to $53,281.80 (max) annual; 35 hours/wk.
