Come join our dynamic team! The city of Newton is seeking qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Electrician within the Public Buildings Department. The purpose of this position is to perform skilled electrical work on city facilities requiring the use of judgment to plan and perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical circuits, wiring systems, fixtures, appliances, and other equipment in accordance with regulatory codes. All other related work as required and directed. This is a full-time union position, hiring salary range: $29.85-$35.97 per hour plus yearly step increases, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to be a part of our team of dedicated public servants.
