The town of Upton seeks to fill the part-time position (10 hours/week, $15.92-$16.65/hour) of Council on Aging Van Driver.
Responsible for performing routine work transporting elderly and disabled citizens to and from appointed destinations, such as the grocery store for shopping, Council on Aging for activities, and medical offices for appointments.
Requires high school diploma/GED. Valid Massachusetts Class D Motor Vehicle Operator’s license and CPR and First Aid certification required. Some experience operating passenger vans or light truck delivery services is preferred; experience in working with elderly persons is desirable.
