Summary/Objective
Under the supervision of the Assistant Director, candidate will perform professional work in managing the design and construction of public works projects. The work involves managing all aspects of design, project and program management, utility coordination, testing and inspection, and construction services relative to the town’s capital infrastructure improvement program. Work is performed in accordance with established lines and level of authority. Candidate will protect the interest of the town by ensuring that projects remain on-time and within budget, through application of sound project management principles and best practices. Overall goals and project assignments are set by the Assistant Director. The position shall undertake all assigned duties in a thorough, efficient, and professionally competent manner.
