The town of Lincoln – an organization that believes that workforce diversity strengthens performance, integrity, trust, and partnerships with our staff, boards, committees, community, and guests – is seeking a full-time Crew Member for its Highway Department. This position is responsible for: maintaining, repairing and improving the town ‘s roadways and roadsides, including snow plowing, operating the town’s solid waste disposal and recycling programs; and assisting cemetery interments and general care and maintenance. Will be required to participate in on-call requirements and will be required to be available for weather related events, including snowstorms. A valid driver’s license is required. A CDL Class B license and Massachusetts hoisting license are preferred or must have the ability to obtain within three months of hire. Duties require knowledge equivalent to graduation from high school and one to three years of related maintenance and equipment operation experience.
