The town of Paxton seeks a motivated, detail-oriented professional to serve as DPW Administrative Services Manager. This full-time role supports the Director of Public Works in overseeing water distribution, highways, cemeteries, and recreational facilities.

Responsibilities include budget preparation and monitoring, payroll, procurement, project coordination, cemetery administration, social media management, and resident/contractor communication. The position also supports stormwater initiatives and attends some evening meetings.

Qualifications: Associate degree preferred; minimum three years municipal and financial (accounting/bookkeeping) experience, or equivalent combination. Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License required. ICS100 preferred. Must obtain Massachusetts Municipal Procurement Certification (Ch. 30B; Ch. 149/30 & 39M).

Schedule: 40 hours/week; Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. (flexible). Evening meetings required. Limited remote flexibility may be available.

Salary: $26.56–$27.90/hour, DOQ.
