The town of Gosnold a full time Seasonal Dockmaster to manage the Cuttyhunk Marina. Cuttyhunk Island is 12 miles south of New Bedford. This is a salaried, full-time position and requires residency on Cuttyhunk from May 1 – Oct. 31 and remote work approximately four hours/week, November – April.
This position is responsible for performing managerial and physical work in managing and maintaining the town’s marina, docks and wharf buildings and performing all other responsibilities as required by the town of Gosnold Harbor Management Committee and its Harbor Management Plan bylaw. The Dockmaster is appointed annually by the Selectboard and reports to the Chairman of the Harbor Mangement Committee.
Salary range is $48,000 – $54,000 commensurate with experience.
