Town of Millbury Director of Public Works: Seeking hands-on professional for Public Works department; Highway, Sewer, Cemetery and Parks, Transfer Station, Fleet Maintenance/Fueling facility. Position includes daily operations management, storm and emergency response operations, capital and operational budgeting; planning, administration, and direction of all operations of the department of public works; establishes departmental policies and procedures based on needs of the town and interaction with residents. Position is a non-union, salaried position with full benefits. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred or appropriate discipline, prior experience in public works or construction operations plus five years of supervisory/management experience or any equivalent combination of appropriate education, training, and experience. Experience with state and federal departments; MEMA, FEMA, DOT, DEP and EPA. Required Licenses: CDL-B preferred and Hoisting 2A within six months of hire. All applicants must be able to pass a criminal background/CORI check and a pre-employment physical including drug testing. Starting Salary Range: $110,000-$125,000 DOQ w/ full benefits.
