The town of Milton seeks a dynamic and innovative Director of Public Works to join Milton’s leadership team. The Director of Public Works manages all aspects of the Department of Public Works, including highway, vehicle maintenance, solid waste and recycling, engineering, water, sewer, and stormwater, as well as snow and ice operations. Milton is an MWRA community for water and sewer and operates three enterprise funds: Water, Sewer, and Stormwater. The Director develops and implements significant investments into the town’s infrastructure, with a focus on improving the experience of all road users. The Director is responsible for administering a $24 million annual operating budget and an approximately $4 million annual capital budget.

Experience/Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, public administration or related field; P.E. is preferred; five years of progressively responsible operations management experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary: Salary DOQ and negotiable, with an expected starting salary of $160,000
